Module Flex Shield Plus Downtube Protector Our new Flex Shield is designed to offer more flexibility at the bottom bracket area that our standard downtube protectors. It also works better for tubes that curve in two directions such as round alloy downtubes and carbon tubes that have some curve to them. The Flex Shield PLUS offers even more protection with a 10x2 Lite Shield protector which can be installed underneath the Flex Shield for an additional 12 mils (.3mm) of protection. Or, you can use the extra piece for protecting another part of your frame. Bike Armor Flex Shields are perfectly sized for Carbon and Alloy downtubes. Our domed bicycle frame protectors feature a 1.25 mm polyurethane dome which absorbs impacts and rebounds to its original shape giving your bike frame maximum protection against the elements.
