Fuji Altamira Cx 1.1 Cyclocross Bike - 2017 - 31-6156 - Bikes sku

- 31-6156 by Fuji

Item description: This Bikes Road Bikes product is by Fuji - Fuji Altamira CX 1.1 Cyclocross Bike - 2017. In Spanish, Altamira means to look highly upon, to behold, and that's what you'll do when you first see the Fuji Altamira CX 1.1 because there might not be a better cyclocross bike on the market today. A cyclocross bike is no better than its frame and the folks at Fuji have one of the finest platforms ever built. Start with a C-10 ultra-high modulus, disc-only frame with a flattened top tube for portaging, an integrated head tube and oversize seat tube for a frame that is stiff when you need it and flexy when you demand it. Oversize chainstays and a beefy head tube can handle a punishing cross course while the tapered top tube shaves ounces where you don't need them. A moncoque, FC-330 carbon cross fork can handle the sharpest corners and still keep you going in a straight line when you start to mash. When you think of CX racing pedigrees, you think of SRAM, and the Altamira 1.1 comes with the SRAM Force 1 crankset, a 42-tooth, one ring, engineering marvel that pairs with a SRAm Red 11-speed cassette and a SRAM Force 1 rear derailleur for a drivetrain that will take you all the way to the podium. SRAM Force hydraulic brakes won't get clogged with mud and will give you supreme control when you need to slow down. Finally, Fuji's esteemed Oval Concepts line rounds out the cockpit with carbon throughout for some of the lightest and strongest seat post and ergo handlebars in the industry. You'll love the Oval Concepts wheelset with their carbon tubular rims paired with Challenge Baby Limus team edition tires. At 700 x 33c, they give you just the right amount of traction with great rolling efficiency so the entire CX course is yours for the taking. There's nothing like CX to demand the most from a rider and his bike, and this bike is like nothing you've ridden before. Aim high. Aim for the Altamira CX 1.1 and don't look back.... Learn More
