ORBEA OCCAM CARBON WORLD CUP
The guiding principal for the design of Orbea’s Occam Carbon frame was, “All things being equal, the simplest solution is always the best.” But simple doesn’t have to mean plain. The mainframe is a blend of premium carbon fibers strong enough to take the hits, yet maintain a lively feel, and the polygonal downtube is cleverly shaped to form an integrated fender. The real magic of this frame is the MCQS monocoque aluminum swingarm, stiff and light with an optimally placed pivot that reduces power stealing bob. The super-tight 16.65” wheelbase makes for an agile climber that is as nimble on singletrack as many hardtails. The Occam Carbon World Cup is fully decked out with Shimano XTR drivetrain, Fox F120RL-15QR fork and Mavic Crossmax SLR wheels.
